At Glenbrook Practice, our BPD support group will now be a closed group—a dedicated, unchanging circle that meets monthly to foster healing and connection.
Why does this matter?
- A Safe Haven: With a fixed membership, you can share openly without the disruption of new faces, creating a secure space tailored to the trust challenges of BPD.
- Stronger Bonds: The same group each month builds deep, meaningful relationships, helping you feel truly seen and supported.
- Stability Through Routine: Monthly meetings offer consistency—a steady anchor for navigating emotional storms.
- More profound Healing: A closed format lets us focus and build on your progress, session by session, for lasting growth.

Testimonials
LARA
“The 8 week Glenbrook DBT course was honestly such an incredible experience for me during an extremely hard time. Besides the amazing number of skills and tools we learnt, it provided a safe space to look forward to each week – where you could meet and get to know people going through similar hardships, and learn to work with and overcome those difficulties at the same time.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to work on themselves, their relationships, and their ability to handle big emotions with effectiveness; tact; and most importantly self-compassion and kindness.
10/10 would recommend.”
LOUISE
“This has been a beautifully safe space and often times the highlight of my Week. Almost every time I walk in here closed off and guarded the sessions helped to open me up and look at my issues with new eyes. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this and hope to take the skills with me wherever I go in life. And, to be honest, I’ll probably be back for more.”
ROBERT
“DBT has taught me that I do not need to be defined by my emotions. I have come to understand that I can remain true to myself whilst building a life that is worth LIVING. The tools that I have learnt have given me the means to manage my emotions more effectively, to accept feelings that can be uncomfortable, and to work towards healthy interpersonal relationships.”
EMILY
“DBT taught me that i am who i am and i don’t need to adjust myself for the validation of others. my sensitivity is special although it can be hard at times, but hard times lead to the good times.
DBT helped me to realise that at the end of the day you only have yourself, so learn to love yourself and cherish the hard moments so you appreciate the good moments.”
MAYA
“DBT has taught me how to think with my head when my heart is at war with itself. It has taught me how to observe my emotions, without letting them consume me, and then decide how to deal with a problem that feels like it doesn’t have a solution. I live my life in full HD and DBT has taught me how to appreciate that instead of resenting it. Like all good things come to an end, so do all bad things. DBT has helped me ease the panic and discomfort that comes with waiting for that ending.”
CANDICE
“We are profoundly grateful to Jonathan and the dedicated team at Glenbrook Practice for the safe, supportive space they have created, and for the transformative impact their work has had on our daughter and our family as a whole. The practice offers a rare combination of deep compassion, therapeutic excellence, and a sacred commitment to the wellbeing of young people. Before connecting with Jonathan and his team, our daughter was facing significant mental health challenges. Discovering Glenbrook Practice has truly been a blessing.

The 12-week DBT Step-upp workshop proved to be a life-changing experience— equipping her with essential tools to navigate both her inner and outer worlds with resilience and clarity. It marked a powerful turning point in her healing journey. So impactful was the experience that we have continued with weekly one-on-one coaching sessions with Jonathan, whose proactive and supportive approach has helped shift the focus from the problem toward personal growth, self-awareness, strength, and healing. The group setting of the program also connected her with peers facing similar struggles, offering both validation and a strong sense of community. The care, commitment, and expertise shown by the staff are truly exceptional. Their work is not only meaningful—it is deeply inspiring. We are sincerely thankful for the difference Glenbrook Practice has made in our daughter’s life, and by extension, in ours. It has been an answer to prayer, and we remain deeply appreciative to Jonathan and his team for the remarkable work they continue to do.”

“If you had the opportunity to learn about your emotions, how to regulate difficult or uncomfortable emotions, how to deal with challenging situations, how to communicate effectively for both yourself and those around you, or how to gain more awareness in life, would you? Would you accept help? I recently had the opportunity to attend Glenbrook Practice and engage in their adults DBT skills programme and I feel like a new person that’s ready to tackle anything life throws at me!

Life is tough, whether you’re diagnosed or not, everyone in life struggles. I used to wish I wasn’t here because things got too overwhelming too fast and I would shut down. I’ve learnt to slow down, stop, and appreciate every moment in the moment instead of allowing my mind to rush with anxious thoughts. I’ve learnt what I need and require in relationships and life and how to communicate those needs effectively.
I’ve learnt that it’s okay to feel depressed or anxious (emotions society often doesn’t want us to display) and I’ve learnt to validate myself and my experiences. I’ve learnt coping mechanisms and skills to implement when experiencing intense emotions or having a bad day. Most importantly, I’ve learnt to understand myself and my body. For the first time in a really long time, I feel at peace with myself.”
